A Project Management Rule: Embrace uncertainty, expect the unexpected ; there is far more that we do not know and can't know than what we can anticipate.
Project Management planning is preparation for those who will be in action; we waste our time when we plan by ourselves.
Easily understood in practice but everyone can recollect a Project Management that has been completed late or run over budget.
A Project Management Rule: Coordinate meticulously.
Do not wait 'til the project has gone south to get their help; start out that way; continue collaborating as the usual way you work through the project.
Some typical tasks may include: 1 - Reports to management, 2 - Pieces of code for an application, 3 - Project Management definition documents, 4 - Any small [or large] item that contributes to reaching the state goal of the Project Management.
A Project Management managed by a team of people who do not get along will probably face many more challenges and have great difficulty overcoming obstacles than the project with a team that works well together and blends in a little fun.
The Project Management definition tells you what is inside and what is outside the box, it sets limits on the Project Management.
Project Management outsourcing, multiple locations and home offices have made older single computer and network Project Management systems antiquated and virtually useless.
